It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 85th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS 2009) in Helsinki.
Our Organising Committee has planned for you a programme aiming at the highest scientific and clinical standards. We have chosen the main topics according to their timeliness. Craniofacial development and Imaging are fields which have seen rapid and exciting progress during recent years and Clinical excellence is of course the goal of every orthodontist. We have invited internationally known experts in these and other areas as key-note speakers and we welcome your posters, oral presentations and table clinics in all fields of orthodontics.
June is the optimal time to visit Finland: the weather is usually pleasant and the white nights are unforgettable magical experiences. The centre of Helsinki is a short walking distance from our conference venue, the beautiful Finlandia Hall. We have also planned social events for the evenings which will give you a taste of Finnish cuisine and the attractions of Helsinki.
